Full Bio

Bobby Ludlam is a stand-up comedian, writer, artist, and creator based in Austin, Texas. His work spans stand-up comedy, film, and creative projects that combine humor, sincerity, and a fight against reality.

Before Austin, Bobby lived in California and near Chicago, working odd jobs and exploring various creative outlets. Across those chapters he built a public trail through stand-up comedy videos, writing, open mic appearances, and creative experiments, all of which contributed to his development as a performer and creator.

Bobby is a main character in Open Mic Odyssey, an upcoming feature film about three friends navigating the world of open mic comedy. The project places him inside a larger story about performance, friendship, and the chaos of trying to build a creative life.

Most recently, Bobby has been pursuing stand-up comedy so seriously that he has moved to Austin, put his name in the bucket for the first Kill Tony Monday that he could, and got pulled to perform his latest 60-second set on stage in front of a live audience and a panel of judges. He is also the creator behind Bobby Ludlam's Inter-dimensional Safe Space, a concept built around peaceful coexistence between humans, nature, extraterrestrials, cryptids, and other supposedly impossible visitors. The idea is humorous on the surface, but the core themes are sincere: curiosity, nonviolence, conservation, education, and openness to the unknown.
